Fall is almost upon us, and it seems like a good time for an update from RHUC's Spiritual Practice Team (SPT- formerly the Worship Committee). 

You may have noticed during the summer that there were no postludes at the end of the service. The reason for this change is the fact that we are dealing with a serious issue with the ceiling in the Sanctuary. The whole area of the organ console and the choir loft is basically "out of bounds" for the time being as a matter of safety. 

Most postludes are written specifically for the organ, so Barry hasn't been playing postludes at the end of the services over the summer. At our most recent team meeting we talked about reinstating the postludes on the piano. Barry is looking for suitable music for this purpose and we will be enjoying postludes once again. 

 As far as services go, we can assure you that there are some wonderful services planned for this fall and even a very special guest  joining us one Sunday. More on that in the near future!
