Update from the Board

The Redevelopment Team facilitated another meeting with the Board on Monday June 24.  The purpose of this meeting was to continue to consider the implications of the Condition Assessment Report from ERA architects regarding the need for plasterwork repairs to the ceiling in the sanctuary.

The discussion included the recognition that once the plasterwork repair has been completed the roof must then be replaced in short order to stop leakage and continued water damage to the ceiling.  In addition, the need to replace the heating system in the sanctuary and Centennial Hall was also considered.

There are more quotes to be gathered before a recommendation can be agreed upon and shared at a meeting of the congregation.  We continue with our commitment to keep you updated.
