Every Child Matters

It was a sea of orange this past Sunday as we observed Orange Shirt Sunday at RHUC. Our orange shirts honour the children who attended residential schools and affirm that Every Child Matters.
Today, on the National Day for Truth and Reconciliation, we honour the children who never came home, Survivors, their families and communities. As a community of faith, we acknowledge the church’s role in this history and commit to listening to Indigenous voices, challenging injustice and walking together towards healing and reconciliation.
