The late archbishop Desmond Tutu, probably had Jesus’ words “love your enemies and pray for anyone who mistreats you” in mind when he said - “If you want peace, you don't talk to your friends. You talk to your enemies.” He did exactly that, when he was appointed the head of the Truth and Reconciliation Commission, which investigated allegations of human rights abuses during the apartheid era.
