Ten Really Good Ideas for Living Your Best Life or Rebranding the Ten Commandments!
Please join us on Zoom on Monday, March 31, April 7 & 14 to embark on a limited study of the Ten Commandments and how they fit into our daily lives (or not). We will meet from 10 to 11:00 or 11:15 am.
Shalom Seekers will be taking part in this study as developed by our own Jane Ridout, but this is an open invitation to anyone who would be interested in being part of this short-term study.
After a break on Easter Monday, we will re-assess where we are and decide how many more sessions we will schedule after Easter. The idea right now is a total of 5 or 6 sessions.
Some questions we will ponder are:
1. What does it mean in the context of our society in 2025 to follow the ‘commandments’?
2. More specifically, what behaviours are in keeping with the intent of each commandment and what behaviours are opposed to that intent?
3. Is this commandment good advice or not?
There will likely be an in-person group organized for afternoons at the church as that may be more convenient or desirable for some people. Also, if there is a demand for it, there may be an evening in-person group led by myself or another facilitator.
Please let me know at bookgirl8@hotmail.com if you'd like to be part of one of these groups. You may also speak to or contact Jane Ridout at jlridout@gmail.com.
All are welcome to join us.
