The RHUC Book Club will be meeting on Wednesday, April 29 at 4 pm on Zoom to discuss THE ADVERSARY by the award-winning Newfoundland author Michael Crummey. All are welcome to join the discussion.
The Adversary, Michael Crummey's newest book (2023) is a critically acclaimed, bestselling historical fiction novel set in an isolated 18th-century Newfoundland outport. The story focuses on a vicious feud between two merchants, Abe Strapp and the Widow Caines, exploring themes of corruption, greed, and love's limitations.
We will meet again on Wednesday, May 27th and the book for that meeting will be announced soon.
