Men’s Breakfast

The Men’s Breakfast Group at Richmond Hill United Church will be meeting next on Saturday, November 14th, 2026.  Coffee, Tea and conversation will begin at 8:00 am followed by a hot breakfast at 8:30 am. Please feel free to invite your friends and loved ones.  The Men’s Breakfast is a time of fellowship and camaraderie for all.  Kindly contact us if you’re interested in more information about it. After breakfast we are delighted to have Dr. Isobel Ralston as our guest speaker. Dr. Isobel Ralston and her husband, Dr. Jan Oudenes, established the MapleCross Fund in 2017, with the intention of protecting ecologically sensitive land, and preserving natural features and biological diversity for generations to come. In her presentation, Isobel will outline how MapleCross has supported 22 Canadian land trusts with the acquisition, stewardship and restoration of 100 properties for a total of over 20,000 hectares.  She will also describe special environmental efforts underway by the Oak Ridges Moraine Land Trust.    

Isobel holds B.Sc. and Ph.D. degrees in chemistry from Western University and the University of Alberta, respectively.  She has approximately 30 years’ experience in global drug development and has held senior research and management positions in international pharmaceutical companies.
