Men’s Breakfast

The Men’s Breakfast Group at Richmond Hill United Church will be meeting next on Saturday, October 17, 2026.  Coffee, Tea and conversation will begin at 8:00 am followed by a hot breakfast at 8:30 am. Please feel free to invite your friends and loved ones.  The Men’s Breakfast is a time of fellowship and camaraderie for all.  Kindly contact us if you’re interested in more information about it. After breakfast we are delighted to have Sameh Farah as our guest speaker. Sameh will speak to us on the following topics:

• Leaving Afghanistan and the reasons we had to leave.
• Our journey through many countries on the way to Canada (from Afghanistan to Canada).
• The challenges and dangers we experienced along the journey.
• Traveling through Central America and crossing the jungle.
• Arriving in Canada and starting a new life.
• Building a safe and hopeful future for our family.
• Our experience with the kindness and support we received in Canada
