It's cold out there. And this February, RHUC is going to do something about it. Together with thousands of Canadians across the country, we're walking and fundraising to support and serve people and families experiencing hurt, hunger, and homelessness in our community. On February 22nd Blue Door Out of the Cold will hold their annual walk, Coldest Night of the Year, in support of people experiencing homelessness. We have formed a team (“Too Inspired to be Tired”) to walk, raise funds and increase awareness for this worthy cause. Please, consider joining the team or contributing to one of the walkers.  Here is the link for registering as a walker or to donate.

You can read more about CNOY, but here’s the bullet point summary:

  1. Main Event: All CNOY locations will host an organized, in-person main event – complete with 2km + 5km signed routes, rest stops, volunteers, and snacks at the end.
  2. Offsite Walk: All CNOY locations will welcome offsite fundraisers who self-organize either with friends or individually, walking any day in February on a route they choose.
  3. Registration Fee: CNOY is 100% free to join! Everyone is welcome to come and fundraise for their local CNOY charity.
  4. Toques: When you go the extra mile and fundraise ($150 for adults, $75 for youth 17 and under) we'll celebrate your efforts with an oh-so-comfy 2025 CNOY Toque.

Thanks!
