SET-UP VOLUNTEER SCHEDULE

Monday September 9 - 9:30 am - 12:00 pm

Tuesday September 10 - 10 am - 4:00 pm

Wednesday - off

Thursday September 12 - 10 am - 4:00 pm

We appreciate any time you can come! Come for an hour... stay for a few...no pressure.

Just a few reminders....

In preparation for your day and participation, please note the following;

1. Wear comfortable clothing (if it's going to be warm outside, it's going to be warmer inside!)
2. Bring water to drink
3. If you are staying for the whole shift, please bring your own meal
4. Wear comfortable shoes
5. Students, please bring your school volunteer forms for us to sign
6. We cannot guarantee a secure place for wallets/valuables, so keep these items with you at all times (or leave them at home.)
7. Richmond Hill United Church is at: 10201 Yonge Street, Richmond Hill, ON
8. Drivers may park at;

Richmond Hill Centre for Performing Arts

Church Street (watch for fire hydrants and new time restrictions)

Centre Street east of Church St (watch for fire hydrants & driveways)

City Parking, across the street from the Church back parking lot, off Centre Street

8. Students - please arrive 1/2 hour before your shift begins and enter through the back door (off Centre St) for orientation.

We truly appreciate offering your time and if for some reason you're no longer able to volunteer, please let us know as soon as possible. Thank you again for taking the time to volunteer and don't forget to tell your friends about the BEST BOOK SALE in YORK REGION!

BOOK EVENT CAFÉ

The Cafe in the Garden Room, offers a place to refresh with goodies and a beverage and to visit with others or take a look at the books you want to purchase!

The Cafe needs baking to serve and needs your help!  Eating always brings joys and friendships to our events!

Please sign up to bring finger foods like cookies, squares, cupcakes, fruit loaf - the signup sheet is in Centennial Hall, or let Donna Smith know you can help.

We are grateful for your generous donations of books. Your contributions have created an amazing array for this year's sale.

At this time, we are no longer accepting additional donations.  If you still wish to rehome your books, please take them to the Salvation Army Thrift Store, 11300 Yonge St (just north of Elgin Mills) or keep them to donate next year!
