Change the Bill Campaign

Daniel Cole (identifies as Metis) defines the difference between Allies vs Companions.  Allyship is bestowed by Indigenous people to acknowledge a positive relationship with a non-indigenous person, based on proven actions to advance reconciliation.  Companionship is a free association of equals engaged together for the mutual benefit of all.  

Through the Change the Bill Campaign we are invited to add our support to an indigenous initiative. As we do this are we allies or companions?
